Submission of your blog's sitemap to search engines is very important as SEO point of view.
Like this, search engines always stay updated about your new articles/posts and sends their spiders for it to crawl them.There are 3 main search engines to which you should must submit your blog sitemap i.e Google, Yahoo and Bing. And in today's tutorial I'll show you how to submit your sitemap to Google.
In order to increase your blog traffic from search engines, you must consider submitting a sitemap to Google. For blogger blogs. it is very easy to generate a sitemap and send it to Google webmaster tools. If you have just started a new blog with Blogger.com then work on it and after posting some great content submit its sitemap to Google for indexation of all of your pages and content. Don’t be late on this, because you don’t know how important sitemaps are for Google crawler. And submitting sitemaps is also the part of Off-page SEO.

First Generate your Blog sitemap :

 For blogs less than 500 posts: 

If your blog has less than 500 posts, simply use the following sitemap

atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500

For Blogs less than 1000 posts. 

If it contains more than 500 posts but are less than 1000 so use these two sitemaps instead.

atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500

atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=501&max-results=500

For blogs having less than 1500 posts.

If your blog has more more than 1000 posts but less than 1500 so you should use the following sitemap.

atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500

atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=501&max-results=500

atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1001&max-results=500

Submit Sitemap to Google:

I hope you do know about Google Web Master Tools. This tool enables Webmasters to provide better and detailed information of their site to Google. This will greatly help you in your SEO needs. Webmaster Tools allows you to submit your blog's sitemap so that Google gets a better idea of your blogs structure. Blogger’s robots.txt file automatically specifies a sitemap url [The Blog feed], but it would be even better if you manually add the sitemap urls to GWT. 

Wordpress and other Blogging platforms have some Sitemap generator plugins for the same. If you are using Blogger you can use your blog's atom.xml feed as your sitemap. 

Note: - If you have disabled Blog Feeds then enable it by going to Settings > Site Feed and change Allow Blog Feeds to Short or Full. (Don't set it to None)

1. Login to Google Web Master Tools with your Blogger account.

2. See if your Blog is already listed there, if it is listed and verified then click on the Blog nameand proceed to Step 5

3. If its not listed, Click on the Add a site button and provide your Blog url there and hit continue.

4. It will now ask you to verify your Blog using any of the two methods. You can use any of those.The File upload method would be simpler.

A. File Upload Method – Change the Verification method to Upload an HTML File. Ignore the file download and upload instructions provided there. Google will automatically download and upload that file for you. So just ignore the instructions and hit the Verify button. Your Blog should get verified now. If it doesn’t then opt for the second method (b)

B. Meta Tag Verification method. Google will provide you a Meta Tag code which looks like

<meta name="google-site-verification" content="verificationkey" />

Copy this Code, login to your Blogger Dashboard navigate to Layout >Edit HTML and place this code somewhere above </head> Save the template, come back to GWT and hit the verify button.

5. Once your Blog is verified you can add sitemaps for your Blog [From the Left Pane > Site Configuration > Sitemap].In the sitemap url give the following url as shown in this screenshot and click the Submit Sitemap button

If you have more than 100 posts on your blog, then add an additional sitemap url

atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=101&max-results=100

If your blog has more than 200 posts, then add one more sitemap url

atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=201&max-results=100

If it has more than 300 posts, then add one more sitemap

atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=301&max-results=100

Continue this process depending upon the number of posts on your Blog. So this means that you will be adding additional sitemaps for every 100 posts.

Once you have added the Sitemap, you can play around with the different other tools in GWT. It will provide you with a better analysis your site, show you the sites linking to you, and help you in managing your site links and much more.

2^nd Method:

For this,

·         Go to Google Webmasters tools

·         Login their with your Gmail account

·         You will see the list of blogs that you have created.

·         Select the one for which you have generated the sitemap.

·         Now you will be in the dashboard, there select more under the sitemaps reports.

·         Next select the option Add/Test Sitemap towards the top right corner.

·         Now a box like this will appear.

·         And Enter the sitemap that you have generated earlier and click submit sitemap.

                                       That's it :)

After this ,Google may take up to 3 days to index and crawl every of your blog page and after 3 days you will see that all the urls that you have submitted through sitemaps are indexed by Google!

link into Jingling. The 2nd button next to it is to add a link with more
control over flow. 2nd one is pretty useless for us as well.
7/ Random information. You don’t care about this at all.
Okay. Now this should be a little more clear. Now let’s talk about adding a link, and change its settings.
To add a link, you click on the button marked “6” on the previous
screenshot, you past your link in, and press the OK button (it’s the one
on the left.).
Your site should now show up in the 5th panel.
Let’s see what we got here.

1/ Edit your link button. Pretty simple.
2/ Amount of view your site got. Resets every day. Not 100% accurate.
3/ State of your link. Basically, green is good, red is bad.
4/ Use this to put a link on pause. It’ll ask for a confirmation. Just press it again afterwards to restart it.
5/ Delete your link. Simple as well.
6/ Control flow based on time. This
will open a window with a panel divided into 24 hours, and you’ll be
able to limit traffic based on hours of they day. Not that useful for
most users. However, if you have to use it, it’s pretty straigh forward.
The buttons in the bottom are, from left to right : Save, Default,
Reset, Cancel.
7/ Traffic origin configuration. Now
that’s a useful tab. Allows you to get traffic worldwide, from China
only, or everywhere except China. More on that later too
8/ Advanced configuration. That’ll be explained as well.
Traffic origin
To access that, click on the button 7 on the main tab. Here’s what you get :

1/ Worldwide traffic.
2/ Both of them are Chinese only traffic.
3/ Western traffic only. This will what you’ll use mostly.
4/ Custom traffic. Allow you to customize traffic, Chinese regions only, so not users here.

So, if you wanna set Jingling to western traffic only, you just have to
tick box 3, and save. The four buttons are, from left to right : Save,
Default, Reset, Cancel.
Link configuration
Now that the source of your traffic is configured, let’s see what we got
in advanced configuration. To access it, press button marked 8 on main
tab.

1/ IPV ratio : Number of sub-pages an IP will visit. 1:1 means it will only access the link, and exit. 1:2
means it’ll go the the link, find a sub-page and clic on it. 1:3 means it will go on main link, find a sub-page, click, find a sub-sub page, and
click.
2/ That will configure the behavior of your links : The first box will behave with the IPV ratio, clicking on random links on the page. The 2nd one will reload the page only. The 3rd one will access a sub-page, then open the original link again. The 4th will search for a matching sub-page : you can enter what you want in the textbox, the bot will search for it, and access it if it can find it.
3/ Enable or disable popup. Enable it if you site has popups in it. If you’re not sure, I’ll talk about the Jingling link testing tool later on. If you have popups, you want to
set it a 20%.
4/ That’s the destination configuration. Used to redirect traffic after a page load. You can add up to 5 links here, and configure a % for each link.
5/ That’s the referrer. You can change the referrer URL here. Add up to 20 links, and chose it’s %. For instance, if you set 50% on twitter.com and 50% on Facebook.com, you’re going to have half of your traffic coming from each of these sites.
Add a link with visits flow control
Using Jingling, you can also add a link and configure the amount of visitor you’re going to get. To do that, you will have to switch to the
second tab on Jingling (button #2 on the first image on this post), and click to add a new website. You’re going to end up on this page :

1/ Add here your link URL.

2/ This is the amount of time the visitor will sped on your link. Configure as needed.
3/ Amount of visitor per day. If you want more than 600, add your URL in the first tab of the software. Note that the amount of view will be multiplied by your IPV ratio. If each visitor is set to view 3 sub pages, you’re going to have 3 times the visits.
4/ IPV ratio. Same as before, refer to the explanation earlier.
5/ Traffic source. Refer to the information earlier in the post as well.
One you have added a link with this tool, the buttons to configure flow based on time (#6 on my second image) will be disabled. That’s normal.
